If you plan to go on to Jordan after Egypt tour, there are two travel ways available: by air or by crossing the Red Sea by ferry. For most tourists, the best way is by air and they usually fly from Cairo to Amman, because the two cities are connected by frequent flights. However, if your last destination in Egypt is on Sinai Peninsula, like Sharm El-Shelkh or Dahab, it's also a nice choice to cross the Red Sea by ferry to reach Jordan.

• Only round-way tickets are available between Taba and Aqaba.
• Kids between 2 and 12 years old are offered discounted tickets while infants under 2 years old can take the ferry for free.

The public transport on Sinai Peninsula is not very well developed and tourists usually travel around on it by rental car. You may contact your hotel or a travel agency to book a car. It takes about 2 hours from Sharm El-Shelkh to Nuweiba and 3 hours to Taba. If you travel from Dahab, it will take about one hour to Nuweiba to 2 hours to Taba.
• Tickets can only be bought on the travel day. To spare enough time for exiting formalities and in case of long queues, it's advised that you get the ticket at least 3 hours prior of departure time.
• The acceptable payment methods include USD cash and EGP sash. They don't accept debit or credit card and other payment methods.
• When buying ticket, you need to show your passport with the validity of over 6 months. Nationalities of some countries are also required to show their Jordan visas.
• AB Maritime Ticket Office is not inside the ferry port. So you need to go to the ticket office to buy a ticket before entering the port.
