Day 1 Arrival in Bangkok
Welcome to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your private local guide outside the baggage claim area and then be transferred to check in at the hotel in downtown area. The rest of the day will be free for you to recover from the jet lag.

Day 2 Bangkok
Your 4 weeks Indochina tour will start officially with the Grand Palace, which is composed of disordered chambers decorated by exquisite paintings and sculptures. At the northeast corner, you will visit Wat Phra Kaew, which is famous for a Jade Buddha enshrined inside. Then the next spot will be Wat Pho, where you will see one of the world's biggest reclining Buddha. Afterwards, you will take a cruise across Chao Phraya River to visit Wat Arun.

Day 3 Bangkok
Today, we will head to visit Damnoen Floating Market, where local people hawk fresh fruit and vegetables on boats. Then your guide will lead you to visit the mysterious Jim Thompson House, which is a museum named after American businessman Jim Thompson. It houses a magnificent collection of Asian art and many unique displays and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Bangkok. As today's trip ends, you will be driven back to the hotel.

Day 4 Bangkok - Siem Reap
Today you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, your local guide in Siem Reap will welcome you and transfer you to check into the hotel. Then you will be accompanied to visit Tonle Sap Lake by boat. In addition to the stunning natural views, you will also visit some floating villages and enjoy the sunset scene.

Day 5 Siem Reap
In the morning, with your guide's company, you will watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat. Then we will enter Angkor Thom through the South Gate, in front of which lined with statues of gods and devils. Our next spot will be the Bayon Temple, which is famous for 216 smiling faces carved on four sides of 54 stupas. Then visit the Terrace of Elephant and the Terrace of the Leper King. After that, your guide will lead you back to Angkor Wat to appreciate the best-preserved Buddhist site among all the Angkorian relics in Siem Reap. We will conclude the day with Ta Prohm Temple, which is the location for the film Tomb Raider.

Day 6 Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
Today we will continue our journey to the Rolous Group, which is regarded as the beginning of Angkor architectural art. Then you will be led to the scarlet Banteay Srei to view the exquisite reliefs. The next spot is another Angkorian site, Preah Khan Temple and afterwards, your guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh. Upon landing, your local private guide in Phnom Penh will welcome you at the airport and accompany you to check into the well selected hotel.

Day 7 Phnom Penh
Today your guide will accompany you to visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the 'Killing Fields' of Choeung Ek to know about the Massacre by the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979. Then you will be led to visit the Royal Palace built during 1866-1870 and the Silver Pagoda whose floor was totally paved with silver bricks. Today's last spot will be the National Museum, which collects a large number of handicrafts and sculptures of the 4th-10th centuries.

Day 8 Phnom Penh - Chau Doc
Today you will board a speed boat to travel along the Mekong River to Vietnam. After clearing visa formalities, you will continue the sailing to Chau Doc. Upon arriving, your local guide will pick you up at the pier and transfer you to check in at the hotel. The rest of the day will be free for you.

Today you will be accompanied to visit a Cham community and climb Sam Mountain. Then take a boat to visit the floating villages to experience local lifestyle. In the afternoon, a private transfer will take you to Can Tho and your guide will help you check into the hotel.

Day 10 Can Tho - Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh City
Today, your guide and driver will escort you to Vinh Long Market where you can enjoy some leisurely time and buy some fresh food. After that, we will take a boat to the countryside to enjoy the rural landscape. En route, we will go ashore to visit a village and do a cycling tour to appreciate the countryside scenery closely. After that, we will cruise back to Vinh Long and drive to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, your guide will escort you to check into the hotel.

Today we will visit the Ben Thanh Market, the biggest trading market in Ho Chi Mihn City, the War Remnants Museum, which displays the records of the Vietnam War (1955 - 1975), the Reunification Palace, the former national presidential office of Vietnam, the Notre Dame Cathedral, a landmark of Ho Chi Minh City in French style, the Old Saigon Post Office, the most beautiful architecture in Vietnam with a history of over 130 years, as well as Dong Khoi Street, where you will see some French-style buildings and many boutiques selling different kinds of handicrafts.

Day 12 Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi
Today you will visit Cu Chi Tunnels, which used to be an underground military camp during the Vietnam War. After that, you will be escorted to the airport to catch the flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, your local guide in Hue will welcome you and lead you to check into the hotel.

Day 13 Hanoi
In the morning you will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Presidential Palace. Then we will go to the unique designed One Pillar Pagoda, the West Lake and the nearby Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Afterwards, we will continue the trip to the Temple of Literature, which is a well-preserved Chinese-style architecture enshrining the statue of Confucius, and then head to Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where you will learn about the history and culture of different ethnic groups in Vietnam. At the end of the day, you will enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show.

Day 14 Hanoi - Halong Bay
Your guide and driver will transfer you to Halong Bay to board a luxurious cruise and you will stay one night on the cruise. Along the way, you can indulge in the beautiful scenery of countless islands and peculiar rocks dotted among the bay. There are also recreational activities for your choice.

You can relax on board and have brunch before disembarking at noon. Your guide and driver will meet you on board and transfer you to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Luang Prabang. Upon landing, your local guide will welcome you and escort you to check in at the hotel.

Today's journey will start with a visit to the Royal Palace - a museum containing a quantity of rare Buddhas collected from India, Cambodia and Laos. Then you will be escorted to take a cruise along the Mekong River to visit the Pak Ou Cave and have short stays at Ban Xanghai Village and Ban Xangkhong Village en route. After return, you can climb up Mount Phousi to enjoy the amazing sunset view and then be guided to tour around Phousi Night Market.

Day 17 Luang Prabang
In the morning, your guide will accompany you to experience a traditional local ritual – the morning alms-giving ceremony where local people kneel devoutly with some food waiting for monks to take. Later we will proceed to Wat Xieng Thong, which is well-known for the mosaic fresco called "The Tree of Life" and Wat Mai, which is famous for a giant emerald Buddha. Your last attraction today will be Kuang Si Falls where you can see a multi-tiered waterfalls and sit by the pond to enjoy a natural fish pedicure.

Day 18 Luang Prabang - Chiang Mai
You will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Your guide in Chiang Mai will pick you up upon your arrival and transfer you to check in at a hotel. After some rest, we will visit Wat Chedi Luang in Lanna style with snakes and peacocks carved on the gate and Wat Phra Singh which is famous for frescos about ancient clothes and customs.

Day 19 Chiang Mai - Elephant Nature Park - Chiang Mai (Join-in)
Today you can spend your day on a join-in tour at the Elephant Nature Park - a wild refuge for elephants. We will return to Chiang Mai in the afternoon and transfer you to your hotel.

In the morning, you will enjoy a join-in Thai cooking class. Afterwards, we will visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep with two statues of dragon lying on both sides of the steps. Then we will also stop at Wat Umong known as "The Temple in Forest" as well as Meow Hill Tribe Village.
