Day 1 Arrival in Colombo - Negombo
After arriving at Bandaranaik Airport (CMB) for the Sri Lanka 2 weeks tour, you will meet our representative holding a sign at the exit. Then he or she will lead you to the see the driver guide, who will then escort you to the hotel for a short break. After, go to visit Muthurajawela Nature Reserve.

Day 2 Negombo - Wilpattu National Park - Anuradhapura
After breakfast, we will drive for about 2.5 hours to Wilpattu National Park to enjoy today's safari tour. There are plenty of plants, birds, mammals, and several kinds of rare animals like tigers, elephants, sloth bears, deer, leopards and mongooses. After the tour, we will drive for about 1 hour to Anuradhapura and check in the hotel.

Day 3 Anuradhapura - Habrana
In the morning, you will be led to explore Anuradhapura ancient city. Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka and is famous for the well-preserved Sri Lanka civilization relics. Then we will proceed to Habarana by 2 hours' drive. In midway, a jeep safari tour will be experienced in Kaudulla National Park. The park is one of the best places to watch the wild elephants in the country where 250 elephants inhabit. In addition to elephants, you can also see mammals, reptiles, fish and birds inside. On arrival in Habarana, check in the hotel.

Day 4 Habrana - Kandy
Today, we will drive for about 3 hours to Kandy first. Then explore Udawatte Kelle Sanctuary in the afternoon. This is a historic forest reserve located on a mountain ridge, famous for various kinds of birds. There are also a variety of plants and small & medium mammals. In the evening, the guide will lead you to the Temple of the Tooth Relic. First built in 15th century, the architecture becomes magnificent after the continuous reconstruction and expansion by the kings of several dynasties. It enshrines the tooth relic of Lord Buddha.

Day 5 Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, we will leave for the largest elephant orphanage in Southeast Asia. The only two existing elephant orphanages in the world are located in Sri Lanka and Kenya respectively, which offer sanctuary for the elephant orphans and injured ones. Then proceed to Nuwara Eliya by 3 hours' drive with a stopover at tea factory. You will learn about the production of the world-famous Ceylon black tea there. Stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6 Nuwara Eliya - Horton Plains National Park - Nuwara Eliya
Today will be a highlight of this Sri Lanka 2 weeks tour. You will be led to hike in the Horton Plains National Park. Horton Plains is at the altitude of 2,000 meters (5,562 feet) and covers an area of 3,160 hectares (7,809 acres). It is designated as the wildlife reserve in 1969 because of its diversified terrains, plants and creatures. Since 1988, it has been a national park and tourists are allowed to go sightseeing and hiking inside. After hiking, we will return to Nuwara Eliya and enjoy a rest.

Day 7 Nuwara Eliya - Udawalawa
We will drive 4 - 5 hours to Udawalawa and check in the hotel. In the evening, pay a visit to the Elephant Transit Home. Elephant orphans are taken care of here till they can live independently and then be released back to the wild.

Day 8 Udawalawa - Tissamaharama
At 06:00, set out to Udawalawa National Park and enjoy a morning safari there. The park is established in 1972 and is one of the most famous national parks in south Sri Lanka where hundreds of elephants inhabit. Water buffalos, Varanus salvators, sambars and monkeys are also commonly seen. And the huge Udawalawa reservoir is a nice habitat for the various birds. Finally, we will drive to Tissamaharama and check in the hotel.

Day 9 Tissamaharama
Today, a jeep safari tour is arranged for you in Yala National Park, which is home to jaguars, sloth bears and Asian elephants. As the second largest national park of Sri Lanka, Yala National Park boasts the diversified ecological environments, such as forest, meadow, beach, river, lake, marsh and wetland. In addition to jaguars, sloth bears and Asian elephants, you can see groups of deer, peacocks, water buffalos, boars, crocodiles and flamingos there; and it is regarded as the forest park with the highest density of leopards in the world.

Day 10 Tissamaharama - Bundala National Park - Mirissa
After breakfast, check out the hotel and take the car to Bundala National Park to enjoy a morning safari. This park is an important habitat for 197 kinds of migratory birds including greater flamingos and also one of the crucial bird sanctuaries in the world, making it one of the best places to watch birds in Sri Lanka. Also, there are many elephants, crocodiles, sea turtles and some leopards living here. After the tour, we will leave for Mirissa and stay one night there.

Day 11 Mirissa - Galle
At around 06:00, we are going to Mirissa Fishing Harbour and experience a boat excursion to see the dolphins and whales. Then we will return to the hotel and check out. Afterwards, drive to Galle and check in a local hotel. In the evening, follow the guide to explore the city and visit Dutch Fortress.

Day 12 Galle - Colombo
Today, we will take the car to Colombo. In midway, pay a visit to a Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda to observe the life of cute sea turtles. After reaching Colombo and checking in the hotel, the guide will lead you to explore the city.
