Day 1 Negombo - Jaffna
Today, you will take the night bus from Negombo to Jaffna - the most beautiful towns located on the northern of Sri Lanka and an ancient and pure Tamil seaside town. The bus takes about 7 hours from 22:00 to 05:00 and the ticket is LKR1300 per person. You could buy the tickets at Periyamulla Junction in advance. As the air condition on the bus works very well, you are advised to take some warm clothes. On the way, the bus will stop in Vavuniya to let the passengers have a rest and relax themselves. You could go to the bathroom and buy some food. As it is very crowded at the bus station, please take care of your belongings.

Day 2 Jaffna
You will arrive in Jaffna in the early morning. There is no public bus available at that time. So please take Tuk-tuk to your hotel. In Sri-Lanka, most of the hotel could let the clients check in at 10:00. You could try to negotiate with the hotel staff to check in upon arrival. If there is room available, the hospitable staff will help you check in. Have a good rest at the hotel in the morning. After lunch, you could rent a bicycle at your hostel to visit the famous CauseWay. Or you could take the public bus No. 776 at bus stand, which heads to Kurikadduwan - a local famous Indian Temple. You do not need to worry about missing the beautiful scenery on the road if you take the public bus. Here you could fully experience the flexibility of Sri Lanka people. You could get off the bus whenever you would like to stop for the fascinating scenery. Just ring the bell and the driver will stop. Then, you could just wave your hands on the road to stop the next bus to go on the trip. The charm of the CauseWay lies not only in the wonderful scenery of the sunset, but also in its original wetland environment. You could enjoy the sunset at the seaside or watch the birds perched on the beach.
Day 3 Jaffna
You will visit the Point Pedro today - a fishing village located in the northernmost end of Jaffna Island. You could take the public bus No. 750 and No. 751 at the bus station. The bus is available every 30 minutes and takes about 1.5 hours. The bus No. 751 goes along the seaside, while the bus No. 750 goes along the inland. So you are advised to take the bus No. 751 to enjoy the scenery of the sea during the trip. The lighthouse is the landmark of the town, which is located at the east end of the coastal highway. After getting off the bus, you could take the Tuk-tuk to the lighthouse. Enjoy the charming beaches here with the calm and blue sea water. Lines of colorful fishing boats are docked here. You could even see some coral near the shore.

Day 4 Jaffna
Have a city tour today to visit Jaffna Public Library, Jaffna Fort and Kantarodai. They are all located in the town area. You could walk or take the Tuk-tuk. You could also visit some islands nearby, such as Nainativu. Take the bus No. 776 for 1 hour to the last stop - Kurikadduwan and then take the 15-minutes' boat to Nainativu. The people of Nainativu worship the snakes. So you could see the snakes climb freely there. If you are sacred of the snakes, please just skip this island. You could choose Velanai or Karainagar.
Day 5 Departure from Jaffna
You will depart Jaffna today. To continue the tour in Sri Lanka, you could take the 5-hours' long distance bus to Trincomalee - a port in northeast of the country and famous for its oldest Hindu temples. Or you could get back to Colombo and visit the other parts of Sri Lanka.
