Location: Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport is situated at the northeast end of Xiamen Island, about 6 miles (10 kilometers) from downtown area.

 1. In order to complete the boarding procedures in time, passengers may arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before departure time. The check-in counters are closed 30 minutes before flight departure.
2. If passengers do not have luggage, please check in through no luggage counters. If one gets an e-ticket, he/she may also check in via the automatic check-in machine.

 The 144-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Xiamen is available at Gaoqi International Airport. Passport holders from the listed countries can enjoy up to 144 hours free transit when they take an international transfer at the airport.

 City Bus
Passengers can take public buses No. 27, 37, 41, 81, 84 and 91. The cost of these bus routes is CNY1. The earliest buses of the lines are around 06:30, while last buses are around 22:00, except bus no.37. Bus no. 37 even operates until 00:10. In addition, there is also a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line L19 at the airport. The operating hours are from 06:30 to 22:10 with the ticket fare of CNY 0.5.

Taxi
Taxi stand is located outside the Gate No.7 of Arrival Hall in T3 and Gate No.3 of Arrival Hall in T4. Usually it costs CNY30-40 to get to downtown area by cab. Passengers to other places such as Quanzhou, Shishi and Zhangzhou can also take local taxis. The long-distance taxis are located at the West Parking Lot, 130 yards (120 meters) west of the Arrival Hall, T4.
