Day 1 Arrival in Lima, Airport pick up with Lima city tour
Welcome to Lima! Our English-speaking guide will greet you at the airport and our driver will lead you to the hotel. After your check-in, we'll visit several historical architectures in Lima including the San Martin Plaza, Plaza de Armas and the Monastery of San Francisco. The Larco Museum is also on our list, where you can appreciate beautiful porcelains and the gold and silver handicrafts. Have a good rest to prepare for the Peru Amazon Rainforest tours tomorrow.

Day 2 Fly to Puerto Maldonado, Boat ride to Amazon Jungle
In the morning, we'll lead you to the airport for your onward flight to Puerto Maldonado. When the plane lands off in 1h40min, you'll be picked up by our driver to the wharf to meet your professional jungle guide. The guide will escort you to the lodge after a 45-mintue boat ride. After lunch, it's time for your eye-opening Peru Amazon tours. Under the guide's company, you'll enjoy hiking in the Amazon Jungle while discovering various trees and plants along the road. Look up and you may see toucans and macaws flying above. After a short break at the lodge, we'll go outside again to look for caimans on the bank. Dinner is served at the lodge.

Day 3 Boat trip to Tambopata National Reserve
Today, we'll first walk to the famous Parrot Clay-lick. The spectacle of colorful parrots of five species pecking the clay is very interesting. Then, you'll be led back to the lodge and have breakfast. After some free time, our Peru Amazon Rainforest tours move on. We'll travel along the Madre de Dios river by boat to meet the wildlife in the Tambopata National Reserve, as well as the hoatzins, cormorants and squirrel monkeys at the Sandoval Lake. In the glow of sunset, we'll return to the lodge and some nocturnal animals may show up. After dinner, it can't be better to enjoy the starry night in a hammock.

Day 4 Fly to Cusco, Half day Cusco tour
After your Peru Amazon tours end, you need to return to Puerto Maldonado by boat. The driver there will send you to the airport for your onward flight to Cusco. Our guide and our driver will wait for you at the Cusco Airport and escort you to the hotel. The first attraction in the Cusco tour is the Plaza de Armas. Next, we'll have a look at the Qorikancha (the Temple of Sun) which features both the Inca culture and the Spanish colonial culture. Then, we'll head for the Sacsayhuaman to appreciate the august stone walls.

Day 5 Tour in Sacred Valley, Take train to Aguas Calientes
Today we'll first drive to Chinchero, where live the Peruvians proficient at weaving. Attractions on our list are the well-preserved Inca Walls at the main square and the beautiful Colonial Church. Then, we'll visit a textile center to learn the traditional weaving techniques from local artisans. After that, we'll go on driving. Along the way, you can enjoy the circular terrace in Moray as well as over 3,000 patches of Maras Salt Mines. The picturesque Sacred Valley finally leads us to Ollantaytambo.

After lunch, you'll be accompanied to the train station for your train to Aguas Calientes, the town of Machu Picchu. The skylight on the train enables you to heartily enjoy the scenery outside. Since the arrival station is close to where you live, you'll be picked up by the hotel staff and walk to the hotel directly.

Day 6 Explore Machu Picchu
Our guide will accompany you to walk to the nearby bus station and take the one bound for Machu Picchu. As the relics of the Inca Empire, Machu Picchu has been listed as a world heritage for its granite architecture amid the lofty mountains. During the two-hour visit, our guide will tell you more about its history. Later, you need to walk to the Huayana Picchu peak on your own to overlook the Machu Picchu. A warm prompt, bring some snacks for lunch in advance. Then, you need to take the return bus to Aguas Calientes and walk to the hotel yourself. Our guide will tell you where to get on the bus beforehand.

Day 7 Take train back to Ollantaytambo, Enjoy trip to Pisac
In the morning, you need to walk to the train station and take the train back to Ollantaytambo. The guide and the driver will pick you up and drive to Pisac in about 1.5h. We'll visit the Pisac Achaeological Park to enjoy the attractive terrace and overlook the beautiful view of Sacred Valley. Then, we'll stroll around the local market at the town, where many handicrafts and specialties are sold. After lunch we'll drive back to Cusco. There's a stopover to visit the Awanacancha textile center. With luck, we may come across alpacas, llamas and guanacos.

Day 8 Bus tour to Puno
We'll drive you to the bus terminal. You're going to take a shared bus journey and eventually reach Puno in 10h. Along the way, you'll first visit the San Pedro Chapel in Andahuaylillas. This chapel has deluxe interior decoration and well combines the Catholic culture with the Andean culture. The next stopover is at the Inca Temple in Raqchi. This attraction was built in memory of Wiracocha, the creator in the Inca myth. Lunch is planned at a buffet restaurant in Sicuani.

Then, you'll travel to La Raya to enjoy the snow mountain at an altitude of 4,335m (14,222ft). Also, the flocks of llama and alpaca may greet you. After the stopover at Pucara to visit the Inca relics, you will arrive in Puno. The guide and the drive will pick you up to your hotel.

Day 9 Visit Floating Islands and Taquile Island
We'll meet you on an agreed time and lead you to the quay. Then, our guide will accompany you to take motorboat to the Uros Islands. Since the islands were built on the floating reeds, they are also called the Floating Islands, through which you can know more about the Uros people's life. After another three-hour boat ride, we'll reach the Taquile Island. A family visit with a simple lunch there is arranged. Then, it's time to return to the quay and you’ll be led back to your hotel.

Day 10 Transfer to Juliaca, Airport see-off
