Day 2 Amsterdam city tour with Anne Frank Museum
After breakfast, the guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and walk along the canal to visit Anne Frank House. It was the hiding place for Jewish wartime diarist Anne Frank who did not survive from the persecution of Nazi but was posthumously known for The Dairy of Anne Frank. Next we will cross the medieval city center to Dam Square, surrounded by notable buildings including neoclassical Royal Palace, 15th-century Gothic New Church, National Monument and Madame Tussauds Amsterdam Wax Museum etc.
Later we'll visit Begijnhof, the only hofje (a Dutch word for the inner courtyard with almshouses around it) in the city that was established during the Middle Ages. Vincent Van Gogh had been there and attracted by the peaceful surrounding. Then we'll pass by the Floating Flower Market. The vibrant colors and fragrances of fresh flowers will surely brighten up your day. Here comes the most exciting part of the day tour - a canal cruise by public ferry to see the city in a classic way. Return back to the hotel at the end of the cruise.

This morning, our driver will escort you to take the one-hour train to the major port city Rotterdam. The local driver there will greet you at the railway station and send you to the hotel. Have a short rest before your Netherlands private tours continue in Rotterdam.
Later, our guide will accompany you on the walking tour to visit the Market Hall, Cube Houses and Old Harbour of Rotterdam. Market Hall is a super large glass-window cable structure with a cool oversized indoor market selling international foods. Cube Houses, each titled 45-degree to make most of the space, are some of the most innovative and eye-catching architecture in the city. Rotterdam was the largest port in the world till overtaken by Shanghai in 2002, and the 14th-century Old Harbour is definitively a must visit while you are in the city. There are many historic ships moored and renovated in its old glory. Later we will take the waterbus at Erasmus Bridge to Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the largest concentration of ancient windmills in Netherlands. You could walk along the canals to see the beautifully preserved windmills and take some amazing photos.
