Day 1(Sat) Arrival in Caracas, Airport pick-up
When you arrive at the Simón Bolívar International Airport (CCS), your tour guide will pick you up and escort you to the hotel located on the coast. If time permits, we will arrange a visit to the El Avila National Park. We will drive through Macuto and pass by the small farming village Galipan on top of the mountain in this park, where you will have a panorama of the capital city Caracas and take a view of the Caribbean Sea. After that, we will transfer you back to the hotel.

Day 2(Sun) Fly from Caracas to Canaima, Visit Sapo Falls
Your guide will pick you up in the early morning and transfer you to the airport. You will take the flight to Canaima at 08:30am, and the flying time is about 65 minutes. Upon your arrival, the local guide will greet and help you check in at the hotel near the airport. You will take a rest for around one hour and then enjoy a tasty lunch in the village.

In the afternoon, you will take a small dugout canoe to the lagoon, Hacha Falls. From the other side of the lagoon, you will hike to the majestic Sapo Falls and take an exciting walk behind the gushing water curtain.

Day 3(Mon) Full day Angel Falls expedition
After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will walk through the jungle and then take a motorized canoe up the rivers towards the spectacular Angel Falls, accompanied by the guide. You will travel along the Carrao and Churún rivers for about 4 hours and have enough time to enjoy the views of lush scenery and fantastic Tepuys. We will disembark to avoid the rapid water streams of Mayupa, walk and take the boat again after a light lunch.

In the afternoon, you will see the Angel Falls cascading one kilometer down from the top of Auyán Tepui. Then, you will walk up through the jungle for about an hour and get to the Laime viewpoint at the foot of Angel Falls, and then down to the rock pools near the base of the falls.

At present, visitors are grouping to 10 pax per canoe, if 5 or more visitors would like to stay overnight at the camp under the Angle Falls, you could spend the night there, otherwise, you will return to the lagoon area and stay overnight in the lodge.

If you stay in the camp, dinner is offered, and you will sleep in the hammock in front of the fall.

Day 4(Tue) Get back from Angel Falls to Canaima Lagoon
If you are still at the camp, simple breakfast and coffee will be offered, and you will enjoy breathtaking views of Angel Falls with the sunlight hitting the rocks of Auyan Tepui. Then you will take the boat again to travel down the river and get back to the lodge near Canaima Lagoon. We will arrange dinner with local food for you.

If you are already at the lodge, you will be guided to visit the Canaima village and go to the Canaima lagoon to swim, or you can choose an optional activity like trek to Pozo Azul at extra charge.

Day 5(Wed) Day trip to Cuevas de Kavac (the caves of Kavac)
Today, you will first take a small aircraft to fly over the Auyantepuy, and have a great view of the Angle Falls from the above, the aircraft will take you to Kavac, an indigenous village, where you will find many beautiful pools. You can swim in the clear and pristine waters. Finally, we will reach a cave with a waterfall inside, where you will enjoy peace and beauty of nature. On the way back, you will have lunch at the village, walk across the community and buy handcrafts made by the indigenous people.

The experience of flight over the Auyantepuy and the Angel Falls will depend on the weather, which could be on the departure or returning flight. You will get back to Canaima Airport and your guide will wait for you at the airport, and then transfer you back to the lodge.

Day 6(Thu) Fly back to Caracas, Farewell
The flight from Canaima to Caracas departs at 10:30am. You will have breakfast at the hotel, and then the guide will see you off at Canaima Airport (CAJ). Our tour service will end here. After arriving, please deal with the flight connection by yourself at Caracas Airport (CCS).
