Times Square

If you shop and entertain in Hong Kong, do not miss Causeway Bay. The place was a shoal more than a hundred years ago. After reclamation it was earth-based and gradually became a commercial area with an interconnecting road system. Now, it serves as a very popular center for shopping, dining and nightlife in Hong Kong.

Fashion Shopping

If you are interested in shopping, the ultra-modern Times Square, the Japanese department stores and the fashion boutiques should not be missed. Times Square, a symbol of Causeway Bay, is the biggest emporium in this area and one of the top ten scenic sites in Hong Kong. Many well-known brands of clothing can be found here. It is also the perfect place to hold large-scale activities. Every year on New Year's Eve, the New Year Countdown Ceremony is held here, and hundreds of thousands of locals participate. Lee Garden is another shop which is renowned for its luxury brand name clothing. It is also a place frequently visited by celebrities. The City Trade Centre is a favorite shopping venue for office workers. Causeway Bay branch of DFS Galleria offers you the latest style products of high level brands like Louis Vuitton, Celine, Chloe, Tiffany & Co, Cartier, Omega and Longines.

Although Causeway Bay is famous mainly for stocking luxury brands, reasonably priced items can also be found here. The stalls in Jardine's Bazaar where fashionable costumes and accessories are sold at normal prices are also very popular.

Local Snacks

You can fully enjoy Hong Kong style snacks and seafood in Causeway Bay. Most of the shops and restaurants here stay open until late when the area becomes a colorful world flashing with neon and crowded with people. It is a favorite activity to take a boat or sampan and sail around the harbor, enjoying the beautiful evening and the delicious food.

The Victoria Park, located in the eastern part of Causeway Bay, is the biggest park in Hong Kong. It features a modern swimming pool, tennis courts, football field and other sports facilities. A statue of Queen Victoria is located near the entrance of this attraction. The largest-scale Lantern Festival is held here every year and this park is also a perfect site to enjoy the moon during the Mid-autumn Festival.

1. Take MTR Island Line and get off at Causeway Bay station.
2. Take bus 2a, 2x, 5, 5b, 5x, 8, 8p,23, 38, 42, 42c, 65, 72, 72a, 77, 112, 116, 962, 962p, 962s, n8, n8p, n8x, n72, n122 or n962 and get off at SOGO Department Store.

HKIA to Macau via Zhuhai Bridge

Hai does anyone know how to get transport from HKIA to Macau using the new Zuhai Bridge..by bus or private limo driver..if do please recommend a driver to me..will arrive HK in December 18...for 5-6 pax

Via the new bridge, you can take the bus B4 to HK Port Building and go through the customs, then take the shuttle bus to Macau Port. Go through the customs, you will be in Macau.

You may take MTR Disneyland Resort Line to Sunny Bay Station. Then, change to Tung Chung Line to HK Station, Exit C. After that, transfer to Island Line from Central Station to Causeway Station. The fare totals HKD 25.2, and the trip takes about 50 minutes. :)

Yes, it directly leads to the gate of the park and the first bus leaves from Admiralty at 9:00am.

From Wan Chai, take bus no.70 at Immigration Tower, Gloucester Road, get off at Aberdeen Sports Ground, Wong Chuk Hang Road. Then walk northeast around 150 yards.

Or from Causeway Bay, take bus no.72 A at Hysan Place, Hennessy Road, and go to Aberdeen Sports Ground, Wong Chuk Hang Road. The rest route is the same.
