Hohhot Map

Hohhot is located in the middle of Inner Mongolia, between 39°35'N and 40°51'N, 110°46'E and 112°10'E. It leans against the Yinshan Mountain on the north, adjoins the Yellow River on the south and meets Beijing, Tianjin, Tangshan, the Bohai Bay and the other economically advanced areas on the east.

This map of Hohhot shows clearly the layout of the city. The network of the white lines are the major roads of the city marked with Chinese pinyin (lu means road; jie is street; dajie or dadao means avenue) According to the direction of the road, there is Bei (North) Lu, Nan (South) Lu, Xi (West) Lu and Dong (East) Lu. As you can see, in Hohhot City, many roads are named in this way, such as Hinggan Nanlu and Daxue Xijie. In this Hohhot map, the locations marked in red are the tourist attractions in the downtown, including Inner Mongolia Museum, Grand Mosque and Five Pagodas Monastery. Along the railway across the city, you can find the Hohhot Railway Station, near which the Hohhot North Bus Station (Beizhan) can be found.
