Where to Submit Application

All applications from ordinary passport holders should be submitted to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC). The Consulate in Calgary will only accept applications from holders of other passport types.

Note: Applicants need to book an online appointment at their website in advance and visit the center on the appointed date.

Fees

CVASC will charge visa fee on behalf of the consulate. Beside, the Center will also charge certain fee for their service. So, the total fee = visa fee + service fee.

walk in visit

Hi, I need to travel on may 21 and there are no appointments on Vancouver office until 29. Can I change the office to Calgary? Can I go walk in?

They don't accept submission without appointment. In principle, one needs to lodge the submission to the CVASC in his own living place.

Indian passport - permanent resident in Canada

Hi, I need to go to China to work around 10 days. I am living in Canada as a permanent resident, so I have a passport of my country of origin (Indian). Do I need a visa to enter to China?

For civil document, it is C$30 per piece; for business related document, it is C$60 each piece.

I am a Nigerian Citizen, but a permanent resident of Canada living in Calgary with my family. I want to travel to china for 2-3 weeks to explore and establish business contacts in China as I wish to start some form of production business. What is required of me to obtain a visa to China.

Anthony, you will need your passport, application form, permanent residence permit of Canada, a recently-taken passport style photo, an invitation letter from your business partner in China, and a PU or TE invitation letter.
