Longhua District is located in the geographical center and urban development axis of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. It is adjacent to Dongguan City and Guangming District on the north, Longgang District on the east, Futian District, Luohu District and Nanshan District on the south, and Bao’an District on the west. The Shenzhen North Railway Station, the biggest railway station in Shenzhen, is situated here. The Guanlan Original Printmaking is an important cultural industry in Longhua District Shenzhen.  Mission Hill Tourist Resort

 Guanlan Printmaking Village
Located in Niuhu Community, Guanlan Street, Guanlan Printmaking Village features Hakka architecture with a row of houses, pools, wells, ancestral temples and Diaolou. It holds an original printmaking fair in May every year, becoming an important part of the cultural activities in Shenzhen. Most of the buildings in this village are rented to artists for painting. In addition to enjoying the paintings, you can also buy all kinds of handicrafts, and even draw simple oil paintings or make some clay crafts by yourself. Also, you are able to appreciate a great number of fine printmaking works at Guanlan Printmaking Museum near the village.

 Wangye Museum
Situated on the third floor of Longhua Cultural Center, Wangye Museum is a non-state-owned museum that collects cultural relics from the Shang and Zhou Dynasties (1600 BC – 256 BC) to the Qing Dynasty (1636 - 1912), including gold, silver, jade, porcelain and other materials. Among them, the collection of ceramic white ware in the Sui and Tang Dynasties (581 - 907) and red and green faience in the Song and Jin Dynasties (960 - 1234) is recognized as the first in the world.

 Taking Bullet Train to Hong Kong
Visitors can visit Hong Kong by bullet train at Shenzhen North Railway Station, only taking about 20 minutes. There is a bullet train to Hong Kong every 20 minutes.

The best time to visit Longhua District Shenzhen is later autumn and early spring that is from November to March. The countryside scenery at Guanlan Printmaking Village deserves a visit, especially the golden rape flowers. The average temperature in winter and spring, from December to May is about 28℃ (82℉) while it is 30℃ (86℉) from June to August, the summer time of Longhua District Shenzhen. Typhoons often hits Longhua District in July and August when it is better to avoid traveling.

Visitors can fly to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport and then take bus E21 to Longhua District Shenzhen. Or one can take a bullet train to Shenzhen North Railway Station which is just situated in Longhua.

The transportation measures in the district depend on the metro, tramcar, buses and taxis. The Metro Lines 4 and 10 are serving in Longhua District. Visitor can take Metro Line 4 to Shenzhen North Railway Station and Express Bus Line 27 to the central area in Shenzhen. It takes CNY120-140 to Bao’an Airport and CNY50-60 to Shenzhen North Railway Station by taxi.
