Day 1 Arrival in Bangkok
Upon arrival, your private local guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to check into the well selected downtown hotel in Bangkok. Then you can have a good rest and prepare for the next 12 days tour.

Day 2 Bangkok
Your Thailand and Myanmar Tour will start with a boat ride on the Chao Phraya River which runs throughout Bangkok. Then you will be escorted to visit Wat Arun, arguably one of Bangkok's most splendid temples, and the Grand Palace, which is famous for being the best-preserved royal palace in Thailand along with exquisite paintings and sculptures. Next, we will proceed to Wat Phra Kaew where the Jade Buddha is enshrined. The last stop today will be Wat Pho. Here, you will see a giant Buddha lying on the altar with 108 auspicious patterns decorated with shells and pearls on the Buddha's sole. When today's tour is finished, your guide will escort you back to the hotel.

Day 3 Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Bangkok
Today you will have an excursion to Ayutthaya. The first stop will be Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, a royal palace with the three main halls in distinctive style. Then we will head to Wihan Phramongkhon Bophit, which is famous for a big sitting Buddha with hundreds of small Buddhas inside its body, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, which is a royal temple where three Kings are buried, and Wat Maha That, which is well-known for the "Buddha's Head in Tree Roots" at the entrance. In Wat Maha That, you are allowed to take pictures with the Buddha's head, but you must squat lower than it. Then you will be accompanied to visit Wat Na Phra Mane, which houses the sitting Buddha made of green stone. After that, your guide and driver will escort you back to the hotel in Bangkok.

Day 4 Bangkok - Yangon
Today your guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Yangon. Upon landing, your local guide in Yangon will pick you up and take you to visit the Shwedagon Pagoda which is the holiest pagoda in Myanmar. After that, proceed to Karaweik Palace to have dinner and watch a show. During the meal, you can also enjoy the sunset view over the Royal Lake and Shwedagon Tower.

Day 5 Yangon
Your first stop today will be Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, which exhibits a big Buddha, whose feet, decorated with 108 pictures, move back and forth, symbolizing the coming and going of life. Then we will head to visit the Sule Pagoda, where you will find the statues of Sule and eight zodiacs. Maha Bandula Park, Indiantown and Chinatown will be the next stops and afterwards, we will move forward to visit Bogyoke Aung San Museum, which is in memory of Aung San, who is the founding father of Myanmar. At the end of the day, you will be taken to Inya Lake where you can stroll along the bank and indulge in the beautiful sceneries.

Day 6 Yangon - Bagan
Today you will be transferred to the airport to catch the flight to Bagan. Your professional Bagan tour guide will pick you up and lead you to the first spot, Shwezigon Pagoda, a giant old tower based on three layers of foundations. Next, you will visit Ananda Temple and Sulamani Temple with the company of your guide. Ananda Temple is well-known for its thousands of relievos of Buddha. In Sulamani Temple, you will appreciate the brightly colored antique frescos, which record the hierarchy and cultures of ancient Myanmar. Then your guide will lead you to visit Bagan Archaeological Museum where many artworks of Buddhists are on display. After that, you will be escorted to visit the lacquerwares workshop. Today's trip will end with a sunset cruise on Ayeyarwaddy River, and afterwards, your guide will take you to check into the hotel.

Day 7 Bagan
Today, your guide will accompany you to visit the Indian-style Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple first and then the MyaZedi Pagoda where the chronology of the Bagan kings was written in several languages. The next stop will be Manuha Temple, which houses a sitting Buddha with a face full of pained expression as it was built by King Menuha when he was taken prisoner to Bagan. Then you can ride a horse cart to Nan Paya Pagoda, which was built of bricks, stones and mud. After finishing the visit, return to the hotel under your guide's company and today's sightseeing journey will end here.

Day 8 Bagan - Heho - Inle Lake
After the appointed time, you will be transferred to the airport and your guide will see you off there for your flight to Heho. Upon landing, you will be warmly welcomed by your private Heho guide at the arrival hall and then be driven to Inle Lake, where we will visit the Phaungdawoo Pagoda. The pagoda enshrines five small Buddha statues, which have been covered with gold leaf by devotees and turned into five gold bumps. Then you will be shown to the Ngaphechaung Monastery, home to many cats, some of which will jump through the circle in your hand if you give them some food or play with them. Later, you can stroll leisurely at Nam Pan Village, and then your guide will escort you to check into the hotel.

Day 9 Inle Lake
Today you will be accompanied to explore a local market first and then experience a boat ride in Inle Lake. Afterwards, head to the Temple of Indein to see the old towers where many fairy statues, striking different poses and wearing lively expressions, stand in front of the gates. The rest of the day will be free for you at your own leisure.

Day 10 Inle Lake - Heho - Mandalay
Today, your guide will see you off at Heho Airport for your flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, your Mandalay local guide will greet you and lead you to visit the U Bein Bridge, which is the longest teak bridge in the world. At dusk, you will enjoy some leisure time to watch the sunset on the boat and afterwards, your guide will accompany you to check into the hotel.

Day 11 Mandalay
Today you will first be guided to visit the City Harbor Bridge, the Sagaing Hill, which contains over 600 temples, as well as the Mahamuni Pagoda, which houses a solemn Buddha. Then admire the impressive Shwenandaw Monastery, which is a huge wooden architecture built from teak. The next destination will be Kuthodaw Pagoda. At every entrance of the interior walls, you can see a big teak gate carved with Buddha Jakata. At dusk, your guide will lead you to Mandalay Hill (up 1,729 steps) to appreciate the golden sun shining above the whole city. Afterwards, your guide will escort you back to the hotel.

Day 12 Mandalay Departure
Today you will be accompanied to tour Amarapura, which is an old city in Myanmar with many temples. Among them, the Mahagandayon Monastery, particularly renowned for the scene of "lunch for thousands of monks", shouldn't be missed. After that, you will be transferred to the Mandalay airport for your flight outboard. If you need the flight to Bangkok or other cities in South East Asia, we will be very glad to arrange for you.
