How long to issue a visa after interview
Hi there. I just submitted the online application and selected an interview date. How long does it take after the interview to get the visa, assuming it is approved? Do they hold your passport for that time?

It usually takes 4 working days and they hold your passport for that time. There is also rush or express service taking 1-3 working days, but they need additional pay.

Tourist visa to China is not available at the moment and you need to wait for some more days. Maybe when your date is set, it will be available.

Booking an appointment online.
I have completed my online application and have been trying to book an appointment, but get a message that says "the maximum number of people making an appointment at one time is 0. Please make a change." What do I need to do to resolve this issue?
Thanks

It means that this date is not available, you can change to another date to make an appointment.

I haven't entered a date. The first page only allows me to enter my name, phone number, email, and Application Number. I have not had the opportunity to enter a date yet.

I am having issues here too. I have tried for a week, emailed the embassy and have tried calling. I don't even get to choose a day or time just says "The maximum number of people making appointment at one time is 0. Please make change." I drove to the embassy in Auckland this morning and waited outside to speak with someone about it and was just told to book online. This is the issue. I CANT BOOK ONLINE! I am due to fly out next week and getting no help what so ever.

Thomas, I don't think it is possible because China seldom issues student visas at present as far as I know.
