Day 1 Arrival in Athens, airport pick-up
After you arrive at Athens International Airport, our guide will pick you up from the Arrival Hall and send you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you. You could take a break in the hotel room to reserve energy for the following Greece Olympic tours, or hang out in the neighborhood on your own.

Day 2 Visit Nafplio and Mycenae, transfer to Olympia
The guide will pick you up at 9:00 am from your hotel and drive for 2 hours along the coast via Corinth Canal to the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus. It is one of the best preserved ancient theatres and classical buildings in Greece, especially famous for its excellent sound effects. No matter where you sit in the theatre, you can hear the sound from the stage clearly. Then we'll drive for half an hour to Nafplio to visit the Fortress of Palamidi, which stands on a rock. Built by the Venetians in 1714, the fortress overlooks the sapphire blue sea and picturesque fields, as well as Bourtzi in the middle of the sea. After lunch, we will drive for another half an hour to the ancient town of Mycenae, where there are many ancient sites, such as the Lion Gate, the Palace, and the Tomb of Acamemnon.
Finally, we will drive to Olympia which takes 2.5 hours on the way. Check into the local hotel upon arrival.

Day 3 Visit the Ancient Olympia and transfer to Delphi
As the host of the first Olympic Games, Olympia boasts a long history. In the morning we will start today's trip by visiting the statue of Zeus, which was built by the Greek people to show their respect. Next we will visit Hera Temple, Pelops Shrine, Athletes' Oath Area, the Gym and so on. Then we'll come to the stadium. Afterwards, we will drive for about 2 hours to Nafpaktos, passing the Rio-Antirrio Bridge on the halfway, the second longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. Upon arrival we will visit the Venetian Castle and the Venetian Port. After lunch we will continue to drive for 2 hours to Delphi and check into a local hotel on arrival.

Day 4 Delphi sightseeing and transfer to Kalambaka
After breakfast the guide will escort you to visit the Ancient Oracle, the Stadium, a theatre that can hold more than 5,000 people, and the Museum of Delphi, which is one of the most important treasure houses of Ancient Greek art. At noon we will have lunch in Arachova, a small city only 15-minute car ride from Delphi. After lunch we will drive for 3 hours to Kalambaka with a short stop at Trikala on the way. On arrival, check into a local hotel to have a good rest.

Day 5 Meteora city highlights and transfer to Athens
Today we will visit Meteora, known as the "City of the Sky", so you could expect to admire unique and stunning scenery here. The first attraction we will visit is the great Varlaam. It was built in the 16th century on the top of a 380 m high rock. The second is the Monastery of St. Stephan, built in the 15th century, which is also located on top of a huge rock. You will find Byzantine and Christian objects in a museum inside this monastery. After the visit, we will return to Athens by car, which will take about 4 hours. On the way we will pass Thermopyles, where there is the famous Statue of Leonidas commemorating the battle of 300 brave Spartans against thousands of Persian soldiers of the Persian Empire. We will stay in an Athena hotel tonight.

Day 6 Athens full day trip
The guide will pick you up from the hotel at around 8:30 am and show you around the Parliament House, the University, the National Library, the Presidential Palace and the presidential guards. The special costumes and changing of guards are always a sight in central Athens. If we're lucky enough to come across it, we will stop and seize the chance to watch it. Then we'll visit the Panathinaiko Stadium, which hosted the first Olympic Games in 1896. Next we'll visit the temple of Zeus and the Acropolis, which includes the four greatest masterpieces of classical Greek art - the Parthenon, the Corridor, the Erechtheum, and the Temple of the Victory of Athena. These magnificent buildings show the splendid mythology and religious civilization of ancient Greece. After a midday coffee break or lunch in the Plaka area, we'll drive along the scenic coastal road for about 1.5 hours to Sounio to visit the 5th century BCE Temple of Poseidon. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, it is in a perfect location. After today's Greece Olympic travel itinerary, we will return to the hotel.

Day 7 Take a boat from Athens to Santorini
In the morning, the guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the port of Pireaus for you to take the boat to Santorini leaving at 7:30 am. Upon arrival at 11:45 am, our local guide will pick you up and assist you to check into the hotel. In the free afternoon, you could walk along the island's streets leisurely and do some souvenir shopping. At night, you may find a seaside restaurant to enjoy dinner while enjoying the sea breeze.

Day 8 Santorini Island Tour
After having breakfast, take the bus to the port of Athinios, and then change to a boat to the volcanic island. After touring around the island, you could swim in a hot spring near the island, after which continue to take the boat to Thirasia. Relax and enjoy lunch on this beautiful island. In the afternoon, set sail to Amoudi beach, and walk or ride a donkey to the famous Oia to enjoy the sunset. We will finish today's itinerary at around 20:00 pm. After, take the bus back to your hotel.

Day 9 Take a boat from Santorini to Athens
You are free to arrange your own schedule in the morning. Later at the agreed time, the driver will send you to the port of Santorini, so you can take the boat leaving for Athens at 12:20 pm. Upon arrival the local guide will meet you at the port and drop you off at the hotel.

Day 10 Depart from Athens, airport see-off
