All-inclusive El Salvador Tour

Welcome to El Salvador. The driver will hold a distinctive welcome board to meet you at the El Salvador International Airport. Then you will be driven to the well-selected hotel in downtown San Salvador.

As the capital city of El Salvador, San Salvador is also the political, cultural and financial center. Today we will have a full day to explore this city and its surroundings. In the morning, we will firstly drive half an hour to the Parque Nacional El Boqueron, where the second largest volcano of El Salvador, the San Salvador Volcano is located. The park is also home to many rare plant species and wild animals. On the top of the crater, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the San Salvador city.

In the afternoon, we will drive back to the downtown area and explore its historical centre, which contains the main squares, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, the Iglesia El Rosario and the National Theater. Accompanied by your guide, you will have a walking tour and visit them one by one. At the end, you will meet the Salvadoran identity icons, the Salvador del Mundo statue on Plaza Las Americas.

After breakfast, we will drive around 1 hour and a half to Suchitoto, the cradle of culture and history of El Salvador. You will fully experience the local traditions, customs and art & craft techniques by visiting the well-preserved antique buildings and cobbled streets. Your guide will lead you to the Iglesia Santa Lucia to listen to the story about Jesus in their country, and find the best position to overlook the Lake Suchitlan. In the afternoon, you will have a chance to see how to make the “Blue Gold” from the corn and the cacao by local people in an Indigo Workshop. Stay overnight at Suchitoto.

Today will be the highlight of your El Salvador tour. You will visit the must-see attractions of the volcanoes and the Mayan sites. In the morning, we will firstly drive around 1.5 hours to Cerro Verde National Park, from here we will hike up to the Santa Ana Volcano. You will enjoy the wonderful orchid garden, the view of the Lake Coatepeque, and incredible scenery of the Izalco Volcano along the way. The hiking tour will take around 4 hours.

In the afternoon, we will discover the famous Mayan Ruins, Joya de Ceren Archaeological Park, which is the only UNESCO site in El Salvador. Here, you will find a pre-Columbian Mayan village site buried by volcanic eruptions for more than 1400 years. By visiting their living area, you will get more idea about the wisdom and talents of the Mayans. Afterwards, we will drive to Concepcion de Ataco and stay overnight.

Today, the guide will lead you to explore the famous Ruta de Las Flores. We will start from the Concepcion de Ataco, and visit the Apaneca, Juayua, and Nahuizalco one by one. You will walk into some picturesque Ataco town to experience the real life of the salvadorean people there. Driving along the hills, you will find some murals on the wall of the local houses and markets, which were mainly made by local people to show their customs, traditions, heritages and way of life. Accompanied by your guide, you will also visit a colorful market in Nahuizalco, where you could find many fresh fruits, alive birds, and local handicrafts like baskets and petates. In the late afternoon, we will arrive at the hotel in El Zonte.

After breakfast, we will firstly explore the 300KM Salvadorean coastline, you will find different sceneries of local features and natural beauty along the way. From the dock of La Libertad, you will pass by a local market, where you could see many people selling fresh sea products. El Tunco is a paradise for surfers. Thousands of surfers come here for surfing and relaxing every year. In the afternoon, you could go surfing at your own expense or enjoy some leisure time at the Monkey La La site to admire the sunset.

Today is also free for your own arrangement. You are advised to spend a full day to explore the El Zonte to experience vibrant surfing. El Zonte is regarded as the surfing paradise by its perfect waves all year around for both the beginners and advanced surfers. For geginners, you can easily find a full day surfing class on the beach. You may lucky to see turtles and whales jumping out the water when you surf.
