Day 2 Guided Tour to Old Town & Vasa Museum
After breakfast, your private guide will greet you at the hotel lobby and then accompany you on a 2.5 hours' walking tour to the Old Town and Vasa Museum.
The Old Town is a glorious labyrinth of charming cobbled streets, alleyways, colorful 17th and 18th-century townhouses and meeting squares. We will visit the baroque Royal Palace which is the official residence of Swedish monarch, Stockholm Cathedral - the oldest church in the city with historical paintings and stunning sculptures, and Noble Prize Museum.
Later we will continue the Stockholm tour package to the island of Djurgården. We will get there by public ferry and explore the Vasa Museum, a maritime museum mainly displaying a mighty 17th-centruy warship which is almost fully intact after 333 years on the sea bed. The guided tour will end here. Djurgården was the Game Park for the royal family and nowadays it is packed with parks, museums, art galleries and natural beauty. In the rest free time of the day, you could enjoy yourself there at leisure. At the end of the day, go back to the hotel on your own.
Tip: For each guest, we will offer a 48-hour City Card, which gives you free access to more than 60 popular attractions in Stockholm as well as unlimited hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus and ferry.
