Day 1 Arrival in Addis Ababa, Airport pick up
Welcome to join the Ethiopia wildlife safari! Upon your arrival at the airport of Addis Ababa, our representative will pick you up and send you to check in the hotel. Have a good rest after the long journey.

Day 2 Full Day Tour in Addis Ababa with Entoto Mountain
After breakfast, we will go to visit Mount Entoto, regarded as a sacred mountain for being home for a group of celebrated monasteries. We will tour around Entoto Maryam on the top of the mountain as well as the former summer palace of Emperor Menelik II. Then enjoy a panoramic view of the entire capital city from the observatory.
Next, we will go to explore the National Museum of Ethiopia, highlighted by the remains of fossilized bones of "Lucy", the early female hominid. Then we will pay a visit to Holy Trinity Church. It is the second most important cathedral in the country and burial place for imperial families and liberation heroes of the nation. At dusk, we will go for a walk at Africa’s largest open-air market - Merkcato.

Day 3 Drive to Awash, Enjoy Safari adventure in Awash National Park
Today we will take a 3 to 4 hours' drive to the market town of Awash and then go safari at Awash National Park located in the Rift Valley, one of the most-visited wildlife sanctuary in Ethiopia, with a good variety of bird species and plain animals. It is traversed by Awash River, the second largest river in the country, thus bestowing some dramatic waterfalls. In the company of the guide, you will sightsee Awash Falls and spot numerous animals like Beisa Oryx, dik-dik, warthogs, and baboons etc.

Day 4 Head East to Harar, Experience the Hyena Feeding
This morning, we will follow the Ethiopia wildlife tours to Harar, located 280 km (174 mi) away, and renowned for its centuries-old defensive wall, colorful maze-like alleys and animated markets. It is considered the city of saints and the fourth holiest Islamic city in the world just after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem due to its countless mosques and shrines. At dusk, we will pay a visit to a local Hyena man who is good at feeding wild hyenas. You could even try to experience such kind of feeding activity in person.

Day 5 Harar highlights city tour, Transfer to Dire Dawa
After breakfast, we will take you to sightsee the well-preserved section of the city wall in historic Harar Jugol and then tour around the museum of the Harari National Cultural Centre with a good collection of local cultural and agricultural items. While walking inside the ancient walled city, you could see the townhouses with their exceptional design of African and Islamic architectural traditions.
In the afternoon, we will go to visit the Jami Mosque, the largest one in the old city, built in the 17th century, with two tall white minarets, and the house of the world-known French Poet, Rimbaud. Then pay a visit to the birth place of Emperor Haile Selassie - Ras Tafari House. In the late afternoon, we will go on a 1.5 hours' drive to the city of Dire Dawa and stay overnight at local hotel.

Today we will drive around 7-8 hours to Debre Zeit, a scenic town just 50 km (31 mi) away from the capital city of Addis Ababa. It is located in the heart of a volcanic field and embraced by five crater lakes. After the hotel check-in at the town, you could take a leisurely stroll around nearby places and enjoy a beautiful sunset over the lake.

Day 7 Drive back to Addis Ababa, Airport see-off
