Day 1 Arrival in Mexico City; Airport Pick-up
Our English guide and an experienced driver will meet you up on time at Mexico City International Airport. Then we will drop you off at the hotel for rest.

Day 2 Visit Mexico City; Drive to Visit Pyramids in Teotihuacan
Your tour guide and the driver will take you to the first attraction of Mexico 2 weeks itinerary, Plaza de la Constitución (also known as Plaza Zocalo) in the heart of Old Mexico City. It is the center of political, religious and cultural activities in Mexico. Then we'll visit the Capital Cathedral and the National Palace around the square. Have a self-paid lunch, and then we will drive about an hour to Teotihuacan to visit the famous Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon.

Day 3 Transfer from Mexico City to Taxco
Today we will transfer from Mexico City to Taxco to explore the archaeological site of Xochicalco. The design and structure of the site is very different from that of central Mexico and Mayan culture, showing the integration of different cultures in Central America at that time. Then we'll go to Taxco, the world's famous silver capital, about 185 kilometers southwest of Mexico City. Almost every household here has a silver store, and you can buy jewelry that is both cheap and elaborate for your family, or expensive jewelry for collection. We will visit the Santa Prisca Church, a baroque church that is more than 200 years old. In the afternoon you can move freely.

Day 4 Private Transfer from Taxco to Puebla
After having breakfast we will leave Taxco and drive east to Puebla. On the way we will pass through two majestic volcanoes, Iztazihuatl and Popocatepetl. Arrive at the destination in early afternoon. A guide will take you to stroll through this beautiful ancient city, visit the central plaza, the cathedral, and the Rosary Chapel.

Day 5 Drive to Oaxaca; Visit Cholula en Route
In the morning we will drive to Cholula and visit the largest pyramid in the world, the Great Pyramid of Cholula. Then continue to drive to Oaxaca, check into the hotel on arrival, and you can enjoy a relaxed and free evening.

Day 6 Visit Oaxaca and Monte Alban
Today we will explore the cultural heritage of humanity, Historic Center of Oaxaca and Archaeological Site of Monte Alban. Firstly, we will visit attractions in Historic Center of Oaxaca. The whole city is well designed and laid out. We will visit Zocalo Square in the center of the city, Zocalo Cathedral, and the cathedral of Santo Domingo, famous for its magnificent architecture and exquisite decoration. Later we will go to Archaeological Site of Monte Alban. It is the ancient capital of the former Zapotec culture of Spain. Here, we will explore the tomb, observation deck and a ball ground. Finally we will go back to Oaxaca.

Day 7 Visit Milta; Transfer to Tehuantepec
In the morning we will head to El Tule, 10 kilometers away from Oaxaca, to see a huge 2,000-year-old cypress tree with 45 feet in diameter. This tree holds the Guinness World Record for the thickest trunk. Then we will visit Milta, 'the land of the dead'. The ruins of Mitra developed into a Zapotec sacrificial center between the 9th and 12th centuries, where people held bloody sacrifices to gods and other religious rituals. The geometric patterns on the walls of many buildings are still visible today, reflecting the architectural prowess of the Zapotec people. We will walk along the stone road of the town and visit a church and the surrounding ancient ruins. After the visit, we will drive about 3.5 hours to Tehuantepec.

Day 8 Drive to Visit Sumidero Canyon; Head for San Cristobal de las Casas
On the 8th day of our 2 weeks Mexico tours, we will drive about 4.5 hours to the famous Sumidero valley via Tuxtla Gutierrez. Upon arrival you will experience an unforgettable boat tour of the Sumidero Valley. After landing, we'll continue to drive about 2 hours to San Cristobal de Las Casas. Here we will visit major landmarks such as the Cathedral, the Church of Santo Domingo with a large open-air crafts bazaar, and the Casa Na Bolom Museum.

Day 9 Visit Agua Azul Waterfalls; Transfer to Palenque
Today we are leaving Chiapas Mountains area for the jungle of Palenque, with a six-hour drive on the way. We will stop by the beautiful Agua Azul Waterfalls for rest. You can shower or swim there to relax a short time. Upon arrival in Palenque, we'll check into the hotel.

Day 10 Private Tour in Palenque Tour; Head for Campeche
In the morning we will visit the ruins of Palenque, which is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. Palenque is a famous historical and cultural city in Mexico and a typical Mayan civilization site. The tour guide will lead you exploring the pyramids, temples and Mayan history. Afterwards, we will drive about 5 hours to Campeche in the afternoon. After checking into the hotel, you can arrange the rest of the day by yourself. It is recommended to visit the old district near the bay, which retains a lot of colorful houses.

Day 11 Visit Uxmal Ruins and Merida
We will set out for Merida, with a three-hour drive. On the way, we will get off to visit Uxmal ruins, which represents the peak of Mayan art and architecture. The entire ancient city of Uxmal has a very special layout, with its main buildings arranged according to the positions of the planets known at the time. The buildings representing Venus are in the most prominent position. There are many superb buildings here we can visit, such as the Casadel Tugas, the Cuadrangu del Monjas and so on.
Upon arrival at the hotel in Merida, we will then visit the central square and the surrounding church, city hall, and the House of Montejo, the oldest building in Merida. Merida is also known as the "White City" because most of its buildings are made of white bricks and stones.

Day 12 Chichen Itza Highlight Tour; Drive to Cancun
Today we will go to Cancun. On the way, we will visit the famous Chichen Itza. The tour guide will take you to visit attractions including the Kukulkan Pyramids, the castle, the Ball Game, the Temple of the Tigers, the Sacred Cenote, the Building of the Convent, and the Temple of the Warriors. After the visit, we will drive about 1.5 hours to the hotel in Cancun.

Day 13 Cancun Departure; Airport See-off
