Best Time to Go
Guyana has a tropical climate, and there are two rainy seasons one year. The small rainy season is from December to the next February, and the main rainy season is from the late April to the mid-August. The best time to visit Guyana is after the rainy seasons, generally in the early March or late August, when the vegetation is refreshed and the waterfalls are at their fullest.

How to Travel around Guyana?
As there is no train service and the scheduled domestic flights are very limited in Guyana, you have to take private charter flight between most of the destinations.
Within the city, taxis and mini-buses are available. Since Guyana is an English-speaking country, it is not difficult to get around the city by the public transportation. However, it’s not suggested to rent a car as the road conditions are generally poor, speed limits are hard to enforce and some drivers ignore the traffic lights.
Overall, the best way is to take a tour with a professional tour guide and an experienced driver.
