What Are the High Season and Low Season to Travel to Lebanon?
Lebanon has a Mediterranean climate, warm and dry in summer, mild and wet in winter. Low temperature, less rainfall in spring and fall. So the high tourist season is from April to November, spring, summer and fall in Lebanon. In winter from December to March, it is rain and snow season in most areas, so there are fewer visitors during this period. While for those who like skiing, taking a trip to Lebanon in winter is also a good choice.
Is Visa Required to Lebanon?
To travel to Lebanon, most nationalities need to apply for a visa and can apply for that on arrival. Passport holders of 7 countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Jordan are visa-free for Lebanon tour packages, and passport holders of 81 countries including USA, UK, Canada, China, Japan, Korea, etc., can apply for a visa upon arrival to stay for 1 to 3 months. It is important to note that the tourists are not allowed to enter Lebanon if there is an Israeli stamp or visa on their passport.

How to Get to and Travel Around Lebanon?
The most convenient way to get to Lebanon is to arrive at the Beirut Hariri International Airport (BEY) by flight. Bus and minibus are the most common modes of transport to travel between Beirut and all the major towns in Lebanon. Moreover, Taxi service provided by car rental companies is also widely used. There is no domestic plane and train as Lebanon is a small country with steep terrain. We will arrange the private car between cities for you during your Lebanon tours.
What is the Official Currency in Lebanon? Is USD Acceptable?
The official currency is the Lebanese Pound (LBP) or Lebanese Lira (LL). All of Lebanon's coins and banknotes are bilingual in Arabic and French. The Lebanese currency remains stable against the USD relatively, 1 US dollar is equal to 1,500 Lebanese pounds. Most places in Lebanon accept USD as well, but the change you received is in Lebanese pounds.
