Located south of the equator, Rwanda has relatively high altitude which provides it warm and pleasant tropical highland climate throughout the year, but also experiences persistent rainy season from March to May. Generally, the best time for a Rwanda trip is the long dry season from June to mid-September, and also a short dry season from December to February.
