Operating Subway Lines:

Beijing has 27 subway lines in operation, including two airport express lines and two tram lines.

Line 1 : Gucheng ↔ Huanqiu Dujiaqu (Universal Resort)
Line 2 (Circle Line): It is a line running beneath the 2nd Ring Road.
Line 4 & Daxing Line: Anheqiaobei ↔ Tiangongyuan
Line 5: Tiantongyuanbei ↔ Songjiazhuang
Line 6: Jin'anqiao ↔ Lucheng
Line 7: Beijing West Railway Station ↔ Huanqiu Dujiaqu (Universal Resort)

Fastest way to Xizhimen station

I want to go from DongZhimen subway station to Xizhimen subway station. What is the fastest trip? With the inner or with the outer ring?

The fastest way is by subway ourter line 2, taking 17 minutes or so.

You can take taxi to Yonghegong subway station, then take direct tourist bus from there to this great wall.

To Yonghegong subway station: you can take metro line 1 from Wangfujing station to Dongdan station, and interchange to metro line 5 to Yonghegong station, which takes 30 minutes with CNY3.

There are 3-day (CNY40) and 5-day (CNY70) metro pass for tourists. You can take the subway with unlimited times in 3 or 5 days.

from Beijing Capital Airport terminal 3 to west railway station

I need to go from PEK terminal 3 to west railway station but I see from the map that the line 7 stop shuangjin is closed. is it really closed or can I use it to change the metro line? also, do you know how long does it take to go from the airport to the west station? thank you

You can take airport express to Dongzhimen station, and take metro line 2 to Xizhimen station, then take metro line 4 to National library station, then transfer to metro line 9 to West Railway station. It takes around 1.5 hours with CNY30.

But the common way is to take shuttle bus directly to it. It takes around 1.5 hours with CNY30. And the bus departs from 5:00 to 24:00.
